March - My Restaurant Rules
Provided effects for the opening ceremony of
the Brisbane entrant in the TV reality show "My Restaurant Rules"

curtains drop to the floor. A flash of floor line fireworks momentarily
surprises our guests. As they regain their focus on the restaurant the
mylk interior becomes apparent.
Waiters are at the ready inside. They are dressed to live the dream.
The host beckons the guests inside. The lighting is dim. Dry ice gives a
mysterious, dreamlike effect. Once inside , the waiters hand out my little
cocktails.
Canapes of my little food circulate. These are samples from the mylk
menu.

February - Royal Canberra Show

Over two nights the people of the nations Capital were thrilled at the Pyrotechnical
extravaganza in the sky above the Canberra Showgrounds

January - Australia Day celebrations
Each year Australians enjoy fireworks by
as part of Australia day celebrations.
Chinese New Year this year, as always, was very busy
with Celebration Crackers and Fireworks displays to begin "The Year of
The Monkey" from Brisbane in the
south to Far North Queensland.
German Television viewers saw a taste of
during the German I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" filmed in northern N.S.W.
December 2003 - New Years Eve
As always, New Years Eve is a hectic time for the
team. They are currently preparing to present eleven (11) displays
in the one night throughout Australia.
November 2003 - World Class
The amazing
team competed in the 15th Macau International Fireworks Display
Competition and received the outstanding honour of placing 3rd amongst a
world-wide contingent.
One of the most professionally organised international competitions,
the Macau Competition features a single water-based barge firing point and
with 70% own country product, contestants are required to put on a 15 - 20
minute display.
The 3rd position achieved by the team
is the best placing attained by an Australian company.
The team is excited at the prospect of expanding their talents and
winning competitions on the international scene in the near future.
September 2003 - Townsville Centenary
The people of Townsville celebrated in style with a display of mammoth
proportions by the
team.
In addition to six (6) water-based barge firing points, the team had
four (4) roof-top firing points and three (3) land-based firing points,
all positioned around the central district and bay of Townsville.
The display included synchronised and sporadic firing with specially
designed products unique to Australia.
July 2003 - Reality TV
With the popularity of Reality TV so high, the
team have been busy workig on a number of productions, including the finale of
Australia's third "Big Brother".
This successful finale comes hot on the heels of UK Reality TV "Help I'm
a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" and some yet to be announced
programs. Stay tuned to your TV Sets!
May 2003 - Putting the WOW into Buddha
The Brisbane Buddha Festival during the first week of May had the
team preparing a display that had WOW on the lips of all.
With the firing point situated on a barge positioned in the Southbank
reach of the Brisbane River, there was a variety of techniques never
before seen in Australia.
Best vantage points were Southbank and Kangaroo Point.
Australia Day 2003 -
celebrates
From Charleville to Gatton, Mt Bauple to Yeppoon,
is celebrating Australia day, putting on unique Australiana themed
displays around the country.
The displays are synchronised to a soundtrack featuring Rolf Harris,
John Williamson and Gangajang.
December 2002 -
lights up NYE
The
team is preparing for a busy festive season, with 17 displays to produce
along the Eastern Seaboard of Australia from the Cape to the South Coast.
The largest display at South Bank Parklands, will incorporate three (3)
barges and eight (8) purpose-built pontoons.
With never before seen product, this display is set to a 20 minute
soundtrack and is guaranteed to be the most spectacular at South Bank
ever.

August 2002 -
makes history
As the
team fire the first shell at the Brisbane 'EKKA' on August 9th, they will
create history. For the past 26 years, Ian
Riedel, will be the
Master Pyrotechnician, a feat unsurpassed by any other operator in
Australia!
Every year, Ian has dazzled spectators at the Royal Queensland's annual
show, and this year will be no different.
The display is themed to the Year of the Outback, and the display will
be complete tumbling hay, outback colours and pyrotechnic windmills.

An episode of Channel Nines Marry Me, featured a
produced segment complete with a set piece proposal message and pyrotechnic
explosions. Dazzling lights, shapes and sounds erupted as the set piece
was fired.
